Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Former President John Mahama has urged Ghanaians to demonstrate their protest against the abysmal performance of the Akufo Asso – Bawumia led government by voting them out come December 7.
According to him anything otherwise will mean an endorsed the suffering and hardship, abuse and impunity witnessed over the past 8-years.
He cited extreme hardship as a result of populist unproductive policies coupled with increasing youth employment, public debt, amongst other indicators showing the country is headed in the wrong direction.
“Anyone who votes for Dr Bawumia is an endorsement of the hardship, over borrowed and debt ridden economy that the NPP has plunged Ghanaians into” he emphasized
He added that voting for change in the upcoming elections is non-negotiable.
“If you are not in support of the hardship then you have to vote for change” he stressed
John Mahama who made the remarks while addressing a mini durbar at Enchi in the Aowin Constituency also bemoaned the poor road infrastructure but was quick to add that the next NDC administration will resume construction and all abandoned roads including the Enchi -Elubo road.
