Akufo-Addo plans to ‘anoint’ Bawumia president ‘through their long game of election rigging’ – Martin Amidu

Former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu has accused President Nana Akufo-Addo of seeking to ensure Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia becomes Ghana’s next president by electoral fraud.

Arguing the president was guided by ‘a wise chief enriches himself by his power and position’ principle, Amidu ESQ underlined Dr Bawumia had successfully been socialised into being a “clone” and “poodle” of his boss’s.

“Nana Akufo-Addo actualized his guiding principles during his eight-year tenure of office with Bawumia and still wants more of those governing principles to continue by choosing to anoint his Vice-President and poodle as successor through their long game of election rigging for the succession,” he said in an article dated December 3, 2024.

He, also, warned voters that supporting Bawumia would be choosing to continue the “create loot and share” legacy of Nana Akufo-Addo.
