Parliament to get Black Stars budget update soon.
In an interview, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth and Sports has revealed that Sports Minister Kofi Adams will soon address the media regarding the budget for the Black Stars’ recent World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
Ghana vs Nigeria set for Unity Cup clash in London
Ghana and Nigeria will reignite their storied rivalry on May 28 in London as part of the 2025 Unity Cup, a four-nation tournament organized by UK-based agency Afro Sports.
GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum confirmed Ghana’s participation:
“We received this proposal from Afro Sports and expressed interest. We’re focused on team building, not just results… but we know Ghana vs Nigeria is always tough,” he noted.
The detail of the tournament is as follows; The venue is the United Kingdom and has been tagged as the Best in the West – Afro Classico Contest.
Other journaments to also hold is Jamaica vs Trinidad & Tobago open the tournament on May 27 in the first semi-final.
Ghana vs Nigeria face-off May 28, and the finals is set for May 31, with a 3rd-place playoff preceding the championship match.
