Former President and Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress( NDC), John Dramani Mahama, will begin his campaign tour of the Western Region from Monday 25th November 2024 to Wednesday 27th November 2024.
A statement signed by Regional Communication Officer, Richard Kirk-Mensah said the three day tour in the region is part of his Nationwide tour to galvanise votes for the party he leads.
With less than two weeks to the 7th December General elections, John Mahama is expected to tour all the constituencies in the region .
Mr. Mahama will kick start his campaign in the region by paying a courtesy call on the Western Regional house chiefs to pay homage to Nananom and also get 1st hand information of the challenges in the region.
He will then meet the clergy in the region.
He will then move to start the tour in Wassa East constituency through Shama, Essikadu-Ketan, Sekondi, Effia , Kwesimintsim, and Takoradi constituencies for the 1st day.
The 2nd day of the campaign in the region will take him to Mpohor, Ahanta West, Jomoro, Ellembele and end the second day in Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency.
The final day of his three day tour will start from Kuntu Krom in the Evalue Gwira Ajomoro constituency, he will continue in Prestea Hunivalley constituency, Amenfi West, Amenfi central and end the three day tour in Amenfi East where he is expected to address a Durbar of chiefs and people of Wassa Japa.
