The Running Mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Opoku Agyemang has began a three-day campaign tour of the Western Region.
The tour focuses on constituencies without a sitting NDC Member of Parliament.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang’s campaign team, which will be kick off in Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency, recieved a rousing welcome by enthusiastic youth particular young women who see her and the NDC as their inspiration.
She is also billed to visit Ahanta West and Mpohor constituencies where she will pay courtesy calls on traditional authorities and address mini rallies.
She will then move to Shama, Essikado-Ketan, Sekondi, Takoradi, Effia, and Kwesimintsim constituencies.
During her tour, Professor Opoku-Agyemang will continue engaging with market women, traders, commercial drivers, and the general public.
According to a statement signed by campaign spokesperson, James Agyenim Boateng, the Western Regional tour will end on Thursday.
As part of her nationwide engagement, Professor Opoku Agyemang has been traveling across the country, spreading a message of hope and change.
Her previous stops in the Central Region and Greater Accra have received enthusiastic support from party members and supporters
