Efia Odo wanted Stonebwoy to promote her business – Sally Mann on reasons for ‘TGMA disrespect’

Entertainment pundit Sally Mann has stated that  Efia Odo wanted Stonebwoy to promote her business which is why she called him names during the TGMA social media banter.

According to Sally, her investigation found that Efia Odo, who currently runs a restaurant, sought an endorsement from Stonebwoy, which did not happen and this led to attacking him on social media.

Earlier in May 2024, during heated debates over the TGMA ‘Artiste of the Year’ Award, Efia Odo, a vocal supporter of King Promise, tagged Stonebwoy as ‘old’ and suggested he should give up the award to younger artistes like King Promise, whom she believed deserved it more for his recent musical achievements.

Her comments sparked outrage among Stonebwoy’s fans and industry stakeholders on social media.

Speaking on the issue for the first time, Sally Mann said Efia Odo’s attacks on Stonebwoy were personal.

“Efia Odo runs a restaurant and wanted promotion. Per my investigation, she wanted Stonebwoy to promote her business, and because that didn’t happen, she went around throwing shots at him,” she stated on Power Entertainment on PowerFM.

When prompted by the host about Efia Odo’s subsequent apology to Stonebwoy , Sally responded:

“What apology? That’s not an apology. If you apologise and you keep doing it, it means you’re not sorry.”
