The Black Stars will open camp in Accra today, September 1, 2025, as preparations begin for their decisive 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header against Chad and Mali.
Ghana face Chad on Thursday, September 4, at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno in N’Djamena, before returning to host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8.
The squad will hold its first training session this afternoon, open to the media and fans, before switching to a closed session on Tuesday ahead of their departure for Chad later that evening.
Head coach Otto Addo has named a 24-man squad for the fixtures, with Union Berlin defender Derrick Arthur Köhn earning his maiden call-up.
Key players including Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, and Elisha Owusu are already in camp.
Ghana currently sit top of Group I with 15 points, three ahead of Comoros and five clear of Madagascar, as they chase a record fifth World Cup appearance.
