President John Dramani Mahama says Ghana’s economic recovery is being driven by disciplined governance, fiscal prudence, and a firm fight against corruption.
He notes that stabilisation measures have restored growth, reduced inflation, strengthened the cedi, and lowered public debt.
However, he stressed that economic growth must have a human face.
Through the Big Push programme, the government is investing in roads, schools, health facilities, and digital connectivity to bridge the rural-urban divide, unlock economic opportunities, and improve access to basic services.
“Economic growth and progress must have a human face,” President Mahama said.
