Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has issued a warning, declaring that Peace FM and Hitz FM should face a ban from operating.
The “pahpahpahpah” crooner expressed frustration, insisting that these media outlets must conduct thorough research before going on air.
In an interview with Agyemang Prempeh on Power Entertainment on TV XYZ and Power 979FM, Shatta Wale recounted an incident where false information about him circulated without verification. He emphasized that when rumors spread regarding his performance fee at the GMA UK Awards, the radio presenters failed to verify with his manager before making claims on air.
“Peace and Hitz FM should be banned because they don’t do their research well,” Shatta Wale exclaimed. “I don’t think someone who claims to be a top radio presenter should just sit on radio and say Shatta is lying without verification. Sammy Flex is there, who is your contact person, and you can verify with him.”
Shatta Wale also revealed that many radio presenters harbor mixed feelings about him, leading them to tarnish his image on air. “It looks like people have mixed feelings about Shatta Wale, so these people are on radio spreading negativity,” he lamented. “It’s very unhealthy for the public because these are people who are trying to tarnish people’s businesses.”
