Piwak Natural Health CEO reaches out to Volta flood victims

In a heartfelt demonstration of solidarity, PIWAK Natural Health has once again extended a helping hand to flood victims affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Volta Region.

The communities the philanthropist and his team visited were found in the North, South and Central Tongu Constituencies.

During the visit to the affected communities, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti, made a passionate appeal for broader support, urging the government, private sector, and civil society organizations to step up relief efforts.

“There’s still a lot of pain and need here,” Dr. Mortotsi said.

Beyond food and shelter, we must also think about the mental and emotional wellbeing of victims. People need counseling, and we must start investing in preventive systems so disasters like this do not devastate lives again.”

Dr Mortoti took the opportunity to support over 200 persons who had lost their livelihoods to the flood to set up small businesses within the communities.

This latest donation underscores PIWAK Natural Health’s ongoing commitment to community healing and resilience in the wake of the floods.

For many of the displaced residents, gestures like these are not only a source of relief but also a reminder that they have not been forgotten.
