The Chairman of the National Economic Dialogue, Dr. Ishmael Yamson, has stated that President John Dramani Mahama is the only leader capable of resetting Ghana’s economy and guiding it toward sustainable growth.
Speaking at the opening of the National Economic Dialogue on Monday, March 3, 2025, Dr. Yamson underscored the urgent need for transformative leadership to tackle Ghana’s economic challenges.
He identified economic mismanagement and corruption as major obstacles to progress, stressing the importance of a decisive and visionary leader to steer the country in a new direction.
“Someone must reset Ghana, and that person can only be you, John Dramani Mahama. Throughout history, economic transformation has always been led by a single visionary, and you have been blessed with the wisdom to take on this task,” he remarked.
Dr. Yamson further called for bold action to free Ghana from poor governance and corruption, urging Mahama to lead the country’s economic recovery with determination.
“It is time to liberate Ghana from economic mismanagement and corruption—to reset the nation and set it on the path to sustainable and resilient growth,” he affirmed.
