President John Dramani Mahama will begin a Thank You tour today, March 20, 2025, in the Upper East and Northern Regions, to express gratitude to the chiefs and people for their support in the 2024 general elections.
His first stop will be Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga at 2:00 pm, followed by a visit to the Northern Region on Saturday, March 22, 2025, for a similar event at Jubilee Park in Tamale at 2:00 pm.
This tour forms part of his ongoing engagements with traditional leaders and local communities following his re-election. It also serves as an opportunity for President Mahama to discuss ongoing and planned development projects in the two regions.
This visit marks his first official trip to the Upper East and Northern Regions since assuming office, highlighting his administration’s commitment to addressing their developmental needs.
