The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is set to begin a three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region.
Beginning Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 she will pay courtesy calls and engage traditional and opinion leaders, address mini durbars to explain NDCs campaign promises
During her tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will visit several constituencies, including Aowin, Suaman, Bodi, Bia East, Bia West, Sefwi Wiawso, Sefwi Akontombra, and Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai.
Her campaign message will focus on the NDC’s strategic plan to “reset” the country, which includes creating job opportunities, revitalizing the cocoa sector, enhancing the quality of education, and promoting women’s financial empowerment through the proposed establishment of a Women’s Development Bank.
Earlier on Monday, Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang launched the NDc Women’s Manifesto in Kunasi.

The NDC Vice Presidential Candidate is also expected to visit Ayamfuri Community Centre, where she will formally launch the campaign of the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Upper Denkyira West Constituency.
The NDC has intensified its campaign efforts to secure votes in the Western North Region, an area seen as pivotal for the NDC’s victory.
